It’s time to introduce a new category: Tip Corner! The idea is to gather some tips and ideas that we’ve come across and tested to be working. And probably later also some ideas that we’ll try out later.
First up is an idea that proved valuable last summer. It is as simple as taking screenshots from the weather charts!

On a bit longer legs, one is bound to be outside the reach of mobile networks. But on 1-3 day trips there’s usually no need to get an update on the forecast. In cases like this, the screenshots have proved to be a great idea.

Personally I’m fond of the forecasts of the Swedish Foreca. I use the Swedish service also in Finland. Normally I take the pictures from as long period as there is available. It’s easy to come back to them and there’s always accurate forecast for the coming few days.
