Makeita taloja Noblessnerin satamassa. Kesällä piipahdettiin pariksi päiväksi. Alue on kokenut hienon muodonmuutoksen ja on aikalailla juuri tätä päivää oleva paikka, jos joku.

Trying to save a few bucks by changing to a smaller storige room = a few car loads of free excercise & a serious game of storige tetris! 😅 Getting the gear in the right order won’t be about lack of practice as in just a few weeks it’s time to change the winter tires (back & below everything)! 😬😄

Luckiest engine fix ever! You know the feeling when your car breaks down and you know you don’t have the faintest idea what could be wrong. Still you open the hood and hope you’ll see just some wire miraculously loose. And it never happens. Today it did! And even before something broke down. Did a routine check for oil and belts before starting up the engine. I don’t even know what that wire is, but miraculously it had just come off and the screw was there to be found and wire was ok. I put it back on and fired up the engine and it worked! Phew!! 😬😅 My love for routine checks just went up a notch! 😊

Hirvee pulla! Tsekkasin perus hihnat ja öljyt ennen koneen käynnistystä. Joku piuha roikkui laturin hihnan päällä. En edes tiedä mikä se on, mutta superhyvällä säkällä lienee irronnut moottoria sammuttaessa, muuten olisi varmasti ollut entinen johto ja ties mitä muuta. Vaikkei millään viitsisi joka kerta tsekata niin taidanpa ryhdistäytyä jatkossa lyhyemmilläkin siirtymillä! 😅

Before hitting the brisk winds yesterday, we spent a few days in Prangli, trying to avoid hitting the brisk winds with a small baby... Prangli still had some of it’s old Soviet nostalgy left, but the old is being torn apart. Luckily Estonians are skillful at combining the old and the new.

Ennen eiliseen puhuriin päätymistä, pidimme tuulia muutaman päivän Pranglissa, juurikin niitä kovia tuulia välttääksemme vauvan kanssa. Prangin vanha neuvostonostalgia on päivityksen alla. Virolaiset ovat kuitenkin taitavia yhdistämään uutta ja vanhaa, joten todennäköisesti nättiä tulee tästä sataman freesauksesta.

Yesterday we sailed from Prangli island to Tallinn.
Forecast said that there would be mild head wind, 3-6 meters per second.
We had barely had ourselves to the open sea, when the wind raised unexpectedly high, ~ 15 meters per second, with some rain clouds.
We finally got Tallinn after 5,5 hour battle, at 1-2 knots speed at lowest.
What a night! 😅 At sea you never know what you going to get.
